Enter CIC were delighted to welcome Michael Barton, the Chief Constable of County Durham Police Force to the Enter Centre on Wednesday 23rd November 2016. Mr Barton was aware of the good work of Enter CIC and wanted to spend some time speaking to our young people and watching a rehearsal. Shoe Box Appeal 2016

On Sunday 20th November, members of our upper school once again volunteered their time to a truly worthy cause, the Romanian shoe box appeal. The initiative sends shoe boxes all over the world to children who may not usually get Christmas presents. After rehearsals, upper school walked up to the Methodist Church and began to move the boxes, with the help of the congregation, from the church into the van, ready to be delivered. Framwellgate Sharing

The Enter CIC team have been working at Framwellgate School on a performing arts project. Our staff members have had such a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed working with all of the students. On Tuesday 15th November 2016, we held an informal sharing to celebrate the students’ achievements and their wonderful talents. The evening showcased over 50 students who all had an important role to play in the evening’s entertainment. Halloween Party

A spooky time was had by all on Sunday 30th October when the Enter Centre was taken over by ghosts, ghouls and various creepy creatures. We were greeted at the door by mummies, vampires, skeletons and more, disguised as our lower school students as they arrived for an afternoon of Halloween themed games. Each child entered the main hall to find that a mysterious presence had taken over and transformed the room into a ghoulish lair that promised treats for those brave enough to enter and get past the challenges…

Home Fires at TrimFest

On Friday 21st October, our upper school had another opportunity to perform the amazing commemorative World War 1 musical entitled Home Fires, written by Paul Flynn. The musical examines the lives of those left at home during the first world war. Enter CIC’s cast once again displayed their enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism to the captivated audience.
