Summer Spectacular

There were lots of beauties and beasts at The Enter Centre in August 2017 as we held our annual Lower School Summer Camp. As usual, the event was extremely popular and showcased the talents of local young people. The singing, dancing and acting were outstanding and our final sharing of the week’s work resulted in a standing ovation and lots of whoops, wails and applause. When Yesterday Was Young

Over the summer period 2017, Enter CIC embarked on a large scale initiative to connect young people with their local heritage. This was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. As part of the initiative, our young people built relationships with national and regional museums, including Beamish Museum, The National Coal Mining Museum for England, The North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers and Durham Mining Museum in Spennymoor and Ferryhill Heritage Centre.
