Rehearsals for Menin Gate Commence

We have now commenced rehearsals for our tour to Belgium which is taking place in August 2018. Some members of Upper School have been invited to perform at the Menin Gate, Ypres, Belgium.  In preparation for the event, our young people are learning news songs composed by Paul Flynn. A nostalgic afternoon for our Armed Forces

On Tuesday 26th June 2018, Enter CIC held a free event for the community supported by the 4 Together Partnership and Armed Forces Day to celebrate and commemorate the work of our Armed Forces. Over 70 members of the community including veterans and ENSA members were lucky enough to secure a free ticket for this event and arrived with flags waving to support our armed forces. Enter Wins Outstanding Performance Award at the Curve Theatre, Leicester

On the 3rd June 2018, Enter CIC participated in the Junior Theatre Celebration which took place at the Curve Theatre, Leicester. We had a very early start as our young people arrived at The Enter Centre at 5.00am in the morning! We then embarked on a 3 hour bus journey to Leicester! Over 1,500 young people engage with Enter CIC!

Enter CIC is a very busy arts, heritage and culture organisation. Most recently, we have been working with 1500 young people in Hartlepool. The team have had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed working with the young people. Mary Poppins was Spit Spot!

Enter CIC students performed the magical Disney Junior “Mary Poppins” on Saturday 12thMay 2018 and Sunday 13th May 2018 at the Enter Centre. The performance showcased the talents of all our students with huge musical ensemble pieces and two wonderful casts. The centre was once again transformed into a wondrous theatrical environment which included shimmering clouds, sky scraping chimneys, city landscapes and suspended letters. Commonwealth Observance

We were delighted to be invited to take part in the Commonwealth Observance Service at Durham Cathedral yesterday. It was an occasion celebrating the special values, shared inheritance and insights of the Commonwealth connection and its 53 nations. In preparation for the event 52 primary schools took part in a range of lessons and workshops. The event commenced with a procession of Commonwealth flags from Millennium Square and the Market Place to the Cathedral. The event was led by Mrs Snowdon the Lord Lieutenant of County Durham and the Bishop of Durham.…
