Mary Poppins was Spit Spot!

Enter CIC students performed the magical Disney Junior “Mary Poppins” on Saturday 12thMay 2018 and Sunday 13th May 2018 at the Enter Centre. The performance showcased the talents of all our students with huge musical ensemble pieces and two wonderful casts. The centre was once again transformed into a wondrous theatrical environment which included shimmering clouds, sky scraping chimneys, city landscapes and suspended letters. Commonwealth Observance

We were delighted to be invited to take part in the Commonwealth Observance Service at Durham Cathedral yesterday. It was an occasion celebrating the special values, shared inheritance and insights of the Commonwealth connection and its 53 nations. In preparation for the event 52 primary schools took part in a range of lessons and workshops. The event commenced with a procession of Commonwealth flags from Millennium Square and the Market Place to the Cathedral. The event was led by Mrs Snowdon the Lord Lieutenant of County Durham and the Bishop of Durham.…

132 YOUNG PEOPLE ACHIEVE ARTS AWARDS WITH ENTER CIC!

We are delighted to have facilitated nationally recognised awards for 132 Spennymoor young people. Many of you will recall we recently conducted a hugely successful performance of The Wind Road Boys in Spennymoor. The Wind Road Boys School Workshops 2018

Wow! Its been an incredibly busy few weeks. Our creatives have visited 11 schools and conducted workshops with 1215 young people. We have discovered some exceptionally talented young people and we are delighted to be able to provide them with an opportunity to join our professional cast on stage in The Wind Road Boys. The Wind Road Boys will be staged at Spennymoor Town Hall on the 9th/10th March 2018. This show has received great critical acclaim and has been touring since 2012. Take a look below for some clips…
