A Very Special Day

Some days are very special and quite simply yesterday was one of those! As part of our research for the work we are currently conducting in Hartlepool, I visited and spent an afternoon with three very special WW2 veterans (all of whom are in their 90’s). The first veteran I visited was called Mr T Lewis. He will be 100 years of age on the 24th October 2018 (our first performance day for Honoured). Belgium Tour

Enter CIC have just returned from performing at a number of WW1 Commemorative sites in Belgium. The company were delighted to receive a personal invite to perform at The Menin Gate (Ypres), St George’s Memorial Church (Flanders Field), Cloth Hall (Ypres) and Talbot House (Ypres). Heugh Battery Museum

On Wednesday, 8th August 2018, we visited the Heugh Battery Museum; the only World War One Battlefield in the UK. The Over The Wire young people and activity mentors were taken on a private tour of the battlefield and participated in workshops looking at weaponry, uniform and life in the trenches.
