The final memorial areas we visited on Thursday 16th August 2018 was the Langemark German Military Cemetery, Belgium. This cemetery had a very different atmosphere, with the graves appearing much darker and shaded by trees. This cemetery was the most emotional one for some of us, due to the mass burying in each grave, a lot of the graves has 8-10 people buried together. There one mass grave which had 25,000 men buried together.

We felt it appropriate sing our version “Our Father” and “Stille Nacht (Silent Night)” in homage to the German soldiers who died during the War.
