Enter CIC was once again delighted to receive a personal invitation to participate in the Festival of Remembrance Concert at Durham Cathedral on Saturday 10th November 2018. This was particularly poignant occasion as it marked the centenaries of the end of World War 1 and the formation of The Royal Air Force.

The commemorative concert is the largest in the North and it is in aid of the ABF The Soldiers Charity. This year the concert was narrated by Alasdair Hutton (writer and presenter of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo), and featured guest speaker Lieutenant General Robin Brims, The Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, Pipe Major Gary Dodd, Pipe Band of 102 Battalion REME to name but a few.

We performed our latest work entitled ‘Carved in Stone’ composed by Paul Flynn and specifically written for our performance at The Menin Gate, Belgium 2018. Our young people’s performance was well received and once again they astounded the audience members with their performance energy commitment and clearly demonstrated a real understanding of World War 1.

A wonderful commemorative event at a beautiful Cathedral.  Enter was truly delighted to perform for the second year at this auspicious event in honour of the servicemen and women and their families. Please see below some pictures from the event.
