Enter student raises show funds


We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to one of our upper schools students Zoe. As many of you are aware we are working hard at the moment to fundraise for our show at Sunderland Empire. Many of our students are out and about distributing flyer’s and spreading the word, but yesterday Zoe approached Andrea and explained that she had conducted her own fundraising initiative for Enter CIC. Trimdon Community Workshops


On Saturday 19th May 2012, we conducted an array of workshops at Trimdon Station Community Centre. The young people attending the free workshops participated in drumming, art and dance workshops. As many of you are aware we are now working towards our performance at Sunderland Empire and Sharon (our resident artist) had this in mind when she designed her art workshop. Students present sharing of work


On Wednesday 9th May 2012 we held an open evening at Broom Cottages Primary School. The evening was an informal sharing of the young people’s work. It provided an opportunity for the students to practice their exam pieces and enabled parents and the community to observe how their child is progressing.  We were delighted to see how well attended the event was and would like to say thank you to everyone who attended the event. Workshops at Brooms PRU


Enter CIC staff members Susan Kenney, Amy Cawthorn, Danny Lawson, Sharon Hopwood and Simon Stewart worked in Brooms Cottages Pupil Referral Unit on Wednesday 9th May 2012. The students took part in Drumming, Dance, Art and African Drumming workshops. Some of the students produced a piece of artwork using the mines as inspiration.
