Community Film Day


On Tuesday 17th December 2013 Enter CIC provided another Community Film Day. We were delighted to welcome local primary schools Ferryhill Station and Dean Bank to The Enter Centre to watch the blockbuster hit film ‘Despicable Me 2’. It was fantastic to see so many young people utilising our community venue and enjoying themselves, especially at this time of year. Gestamp Tallent Singing


During the festive period Enter CIC have been working with a number of apprentices from Gestamp Tallent in Newton Aycliffe in preparation for a charity day event they hold every year. Every year the new intake of apprentices are tasked with entertaining their work colleagues over the festive period by performing carols during their breaks. Santa’s Grotto 2013


On Sunday 15th December 2013 Enter CIC welcomed a very special visitor to The Enter Centre in Ferryhill. We invited children from the community to come and meet Santa at our centre that had been transformed into a magical winter wonderland for his arrival. Before Santa’s arrival a number of very special golden tickets were given out at random to children in the community which allowed them free entry into the grotto. Christmas Spirit


What a way to end another fantastic year of performances and opportunities at Enter CIC with a performance entitled ‘Christmas Spirit’. This year our Christmas performance was a showcase of the work that our young people have been involved with throughout 2013. Etherley Church Performance


On Saturday 7th December 2013 Enter CIC were welcomed into Etherley Methodist Church the evening was opened by Stanhope Brass Band playing a collection of well known songs. The room was filled with sounds through the decades. At 8.30pm our Upper School students took to the performance arena where there was excited chatter about what they were about to experience. Community Carol Singing

On Friday 6th December 2013 Enter CIC were invited to perform an array of songs at The Post Boy in the heart of the Ferryhill community. Our young people provided entertainment for local residents to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support which is a fantastic cause close to our hearts. Once again as our young people took to the stage heads were turned as locals enjoyed the live entertainment.
