A Special Visitor To Our New Venue


On Saturday 20th April 2013, we were delighted to receive a special visitor to our venue for our Celebration of Age event entitled ‘Puttin on the Blitz’. We had over 120 residents (all over the age of 60), turn up for the event. One of the residents Mr John Oyston is very familiar with our venue as he was the church secretary for 40 years. Students Gain More Theatre Experience


On Tuesday 16th February 2013 and Friday 19th February 2013, Enter CIC Students Cameron Gough and James Priestley embarked on work experience with Matthew Bourne’s production of Sleeping Beauty currently playing at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle. Old King Coal Performance


On Sunday 21st April 2013, Enter CIC performed in the Old King Coal Festival at Beamish, The Living Museum of the North. The festival took place over the weekend and was designed to mark the 100th anniversary of peak coal production and to celebrate the North East’s mining heritage. Celebration of Age Performance


On Saturday the 20th of April, 120 residents from the Ferryhill area were transported back in time when Enter CIC hosted an inter-generational event with music and entertainment from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. The production team from Enter had worked long into the night on Friday to transform the Enter Centre into a blast from the past 1940’s style dance hall with all the trimmings.
