Masquerade Ball


What a night the 21st November 2014 turned out to be! Earlier this year Enter CIC were delighted to receive a special invitation from The Chairman of County Durham Council asking us to perform at his Civic Ball 2014. We were informed that the Ball had a masquerade theme and we were asked if we could create a performance based on this theme. Technical Workshop

On Sunday 9th November 2014 some of our students went to The Assembly Rooms theatre in Durham for a workshop to learn about the technical aspects of theatre. The students were greeted by Technical staff Jonny Browning and Caleb Bond. The students were given a tour of the theatre and backstage before heading up to the sound and lighting box. Remembrance Ceremony 2014


On Sunday 9th November 2014 students from Enter CIC took part in the Remembrance Day Ceremony held in Ferryhill to remember all the men, women and children who lost their lives in both World Wars. We are delighted to be part of such an important event in the community and it is very important for the young people who attend Enter CIC to understand their heritage so they are able to continue and remember the sacrifices that were made to ensure they have a better future. On Saturday 25th October 2014 we welcomed professional theatre company ‘Metta Theatre’ to our venue in Ferryhill. The theatre company brought their fantastic version of ‘Alice’ to our centre as part of The Take Off Festival 2014. This new production gives a new take on the original story of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. A magical, moving WW1 story of the real-life Alice in Wonderland, told through imaginative puppetry & music. 1915 Bombs rain down.
