Enter CIC is a social enterprise, established in 2010 and based in County Durham. We use cultural, academic and life skills activities to support the aspirations of young and old across the North East.
We support individuals, organisations and communities with charitable opportunities and services. We have an excellent reputation for delivering a wide range of creative, social and heritage initiatives that have a positive, long-lasting impact on everyone involved.
We provide a friendly, equitable environment with appropriate challenges to allow young and old to thrive.
Experience
Our team is hand-picked because of their lived experiences in the communities in which we choose to work. Their contributions are invaluable as we choose to seat our operations, our base and our centralised services directly within the communities we seek to serve.
Member of our team sit on the Task and Finish Groups of our local area action partnership and other local bodies, which helps us to ensure we stay in touch with the needs of communities.
We work in partnership with an array of agencies, schools, children’s services, health care units, community hubs, local councillors, museums and parties that have a keen interest in promoting a better society through community initiatives.
Involved
Our unique, high-quality provision in all performing arts disciplines is delivered through workshops, holiday clubs and live performances in professional theatres and community environments.
We have an award-winning Youth Theatre initiative, which is open to all and has seen participants grace some of the largest stages in Europe.
The Enter Centre is an approved creative examination centre providing candidates with access to Arts Awards, LAMDA, Trinity College and London College of Music, RGT and other creative examination boards. We are approved to deliver (in our own right) the full BTEC suite of qualifications in performance and art subjects. These range from the base awards to the Level 3 Extended National Diplomas.
Enter CIC also operates as a production company for new, original theatre writing.

Unique
The Enter Centre is an approved, independent academic examination centre and work-based learning environment. We provide candidate with access to GCSE, A Level, BTEC, Functional and Vocational Skills. We facilitate examinations with Edexcel (Pearson), AQA, OCR, and CIE academic examination boards.
We support home schooled children, mature students, work-based learners and people who wish to resit examinations to achieve improved grades, or for those who wish to change career paths.

Arts Award
We are proud to be an approved Arts Award Centre and Supporter. In fact, members of our team were among the very first Arts Award Advisors in the country to be trained when the Arts Award programme was first launched.
Since this time, hundreds of young people have studied with our Centre to gain Arts Award. We offer the full range of Arts Awards, including Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
