Chief Constable’s Visit

Written by Paul

24th November 2016

Enter CIC were delighted to welcome Michael Barton, the Chief Constable of County Durham Police Force to the Enter Centre on Wednesday 23rd November 2016.

Mr Barton was aware of the good work of Enter CIC and wanted to spend some time speaking to our young people and watching a rehearsal.

Mr Barton observed our upper school students rehearsing for the next up and coming production entitled, ‘Ribbons and Bowes’ at Bowes Museum.

Mr Barton praised the young people for their dedication and performance excellence. He was extremely impressed by their discipline and attention to detail.

The evening provided an opportunity for representatives of the constabulary to meet and converse with young people from South County Durham about issues that matter to them; as well as for young people to see the friendly face of the police service, and a lovely evening was had by all.
