On Sunday 26th October 2014 Enter CIC performed a showcase of work for the Chilton Community thanks to funding from local Councillor Christine Potts. Our students have worked really hard over the last year and have now built a fantastic and very impressive repertoire. With all the amazing opportunities that we have been involved in this year (including performances at Durham Cathedral, Auckland Castle, Sage Gateshead and The Edinburgh Festival Fringe!) we decided to put together an informal sharing that would showcase the talents of the young people training with Enter CIC.

As Christmas is fast approaching our students have also been working on some new material so we added a few new pieces for this performance. The performance featured songs from some well known musicals, comedy and extracts from our brilliant in house productions ‘The Wind Road Boys’ and ‘Home Fires’ as well as recitals focusing on a Halloween theme and some fantastic energetic dance numbers.

It was an absolutely fantastic turnout at the Chilton & Windelstone Working Mens Club. It’s incredible to see the amount of support our students receive every time they perform. The chilton showcase web1rapturous applause, cheering and standing ovation from the audience just made the event extra special for everyone involved. We were delighted to welcome Councillor Elizabeth Bruce, the Mayor of Chilton and Councillor Christine Potts to the event. Our young people thoroughly enjoyed performing for them. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Councillor Christine Potts on behalf of all Enter CIC staff, students and volunteers.
