We were recently approached by Durham University who were keen to develop a partnership with us which would provide opportunities for their medical students to gain experience of working in the community and dealing with an array of situations outside of the clinical environment.
Enter CIC fully understand how important it is that tomorrows doctors understand that health and disease is not just a matter of individual patients but of their families, their carers, their communities and society in general.
Enter CIC will be offering three medical students from Durham University community placements from January 2013. The students will be involved in an array of our performing arts community projects and they will get to see health and social care issues at grassroots and community level. We very much look forward to welcoming them to our team. We are very excited about this new partnership.
