Upon returning to Enter today, we were delighted to receive a gift from author Trevor Purnell who wrote the best selling ‘Village Boys Still’.

We met Trevor and his wonderful wife when we were in Belgium. Both of them were very moved by our performance and delighted to see young people engaged in a WW1 initiative. Trevor explained to me that when his book was published he ensured that members of the Tillington Community received a free copy of the publication. However, they all agreed that if they should move from the village the book would remain with the house for the next homeowner to discover. In this way, the thirty-one men from Tillington who gave their lives in the Great War will never be forgotten. We can’t wait to start reading the book and learning more about the great sacrifices of a small community. We would like to thank Trevor and his wife for donating this wonderful resource to Enter CIC.
