The Enter Centre hosts Tröll

31st October 2017

On the 19th October 2017,  we once again welcomed Theatre Hullabalo and the wonderful TakeOff Children’s Theatre Festival to Enter CIC. This is a lovely event which celebrates children’s theatre in the North East of England. As part of the festival we hosted a production of Tröll.

Tröll reimagines popular Icelandic folk tales with handcrafted puppets and a stunning original score influenced by old world melodies by Paul Mosely. An unmissable experience for the whole family.

Tröll was created and produced by Handbendi which is a professional puppetry and theatre company based in Hvammstangi – a small village in north west Iceland.

Enter CIC provided free tickets for our lower school to attend this production. The work provided a wonderful opportunity for young people to experience puppet theatre.

We all had a lovely evening and we once again enjoyed hosting TakeOff Festival 2017. Well done to everyone.
