Community

Enter CIC has become know as a positive enabler across Durham and the North East. We specialise in programmes that raise aspiration, combat social isolation, improve mental and physical wellbeing as well as developing volunteering and employment skills. We have won awards for our work with elderly communities.

Feasibility study success

We are now coming to the end of a very successful feasibility study that has been taking place on Saturdays, We will collate the evidence and present this to a funding body to try and acquire funding to make the Saturday provision a permanent feature in Ferryhill.

Unfortunately this means that Saturday 22nd January 2011 will be the last session of the feasibility study.

Although this provision is closing on a Saturday we have been asked to organize a performance to raise funds for Help for Heroes. This project will run on a Wednesday evening from 5.00pm – 7.30pm at Mainsforth Community Theatre starting on the 26th January, The children will work to prepare a range of performance pieces for the evening which is due to take place in July, this will be a magical evening and provides a wonderful performance opportunity for the children, We are hoping that children who have attended the Saturday sessions will want to take part in this performance and the Wednesday evening sessions to support this worthwhile charity.
