14th March 2017

Enter CIC have had an exceptionally busy weekend. We are delighted to report that on Saturday 11th March 2017 a number of our students participated in the Darlington Festival of Performing Arts. Our students competed in an array of different classes and their hard work in the lead up to the festival was rewarded.

We are pleased to report that Enter CIC students were awarded 7 first places, a number of second places and many commendation certificates. Our students took home the following trophies:

The Philla Ditchman Trophy for Verse Speaking.
The Urith Alport Trophy for Prose Speaking.
The Leighton Trophy for Verse Speaking.
The Beatrice Dixon Trophy for Sonnet Verse Speaking.
The Jubilee Trophy for Solo Acting.
The Boyes Trophy for Verse Speaking.
The William Bainbridge Trophy for the Senior Championship Class.

A special mention must go to Susie Naylor who won the overall Senior Championship category. This is a wonderful accolade and is no small feat. In order to qualify to compete in this category, participants have to win three other competitions!

Congratulations to all of the students who took part in the festival. You all demonstrated wonderful team spirit and it was a lovely day.
