On Thursday 31st October 2013 we launched our first Community Screen Night at The Enter Centre. The evening saw members of the community fill our venue to watch our first feature film ‘Hotel Transylvania’.
The venue was transformed into a Halloween themed arena with decorations throughout. There were some fantastic costumes being worn by young people and the parents were looking great as well! Everyone received a certificate for their brilliant costumes and at the end of the film we picked out the scariest one, which was won by Charlie (pictured right).
Before the film began the young people had the chance to show their skills at Apple Bobbing and turned out to be far more successful than Enter CIC staff members!
As everyone made their way through to the main hall they had the chance to stock up on a wide selection of sweets and drinks at our spooky shop before sitting down for the film. The film itself was fantastic for all generations and perfect for an evening of Halloween fun.
We are delighted with the response from the community for our first Screen Night and we hope to show many more feature films in the future. If you missed the first one don’t worry, you can catch our upcoming showings of ‘Oz The Great and Powerful’ (1st November 2013, 7.30pm) and Monsters University (9th November 2013, 2.30pm)
