Everyone knows how effective a catchy tune can be. If you combine a catchy tune with a simple lyric magic can happen. Music is one of the most powerful tools for engaging people. Music plays an instrumental role in our curriculum. Whilst studying with us young people will be given lots of opportunities to explore composition, create theme tunes, and record songs in recording studios.

In 2011, Enter CIC students created and recorded two songs. The first song was entitled ‘All Together’ and was originally composed for the Four Together Action Partnership in County Durham. The second song entitled “Tell Me What Its like;A Soldiers Tale” was composed and recorded to help raise funds for the Help for Heroes Charity. This song has now been formally adopted by Care for Casualties to raise funds for The Rifles Regiment Trust as their theme tune. The Rifles are our front line of defense in any war and we are extremely proud that such a worthwhile charity has chosen to adopt our song as their theme tune. We hope that the song will continue to help raise funds for the wounded Riflemen, their families and the families of the fallen.

In February 2013 Enter CIC took part in a competition to celebrate the very best of up-and-coming unsigned British artists and the live music venues that support them. We were informed about the competition by our local MP Phil Wilson. Enter CIC felt this was a very important competition not only for developing students skills, but also Enter CIC is a production house that regularly commissions music and hosts live performances at its own venues. The song represented the Sedgefield constituency in the under 19’s band category. To listen to the song click the image below.
