Our staff were discussing the amount of projects that we had completed over the last academic year and it’s quite astounding.
We thought you may like to glance at the list of events that Enter CIC completed last year because it is so easy to forget just how much we pack into an academic year.

May 2015: Durham Castle – Enter invited to perform at County Durham Community Foundation event at Durham Castle.
July 2015: Aladdin Summer School
August 2015: Home Fires Musical Production
October 2015: An Evening with Tim Rice and Friends, Sage Gateshead – Enter receive a special invitation to perform with Sir Tim Rice and a whole host of West End and Broadway stars at Sage, Gateshead. Sir Tim Rice requests that Enter CIC perform a world-first – a new verse to his smash hit song, A Winter’s Tale, made famous by David Essex.
December 2015: Sunderland Empire: Enter CIC take over Sunderland Empire and perform their own smash hit musical Ebenezer Scrooge. We were honoured to be awarded a Commendation Certificate from Mrs Sue Snowden, The Lord Lieutenant of County Durham (Queen’s representative) for our production of Ebenezer Scrooge.
January 2016: Sage, Gateshead – We receive a special invitation to perform at the 2021 Durham Masonic event at Sage, Gateshead.
January 2016: Launch large scale programme for the elderly entitled, The Gaiety Afternoon.
April 2016:Â Commence educational tour across the North East of our own new educational musical entitled, The Curious Case of the Human being.
May 2016: LAMDA Examination Series – Enter recognised as an outstanding training centre.
May 2016: Our Upper School students gain work experience placements on Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake production at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle.
May 2016: Lower school production Alice in Wonderland.
June 2016: Enter receive a special request to perform at the Don Robson commemoration event at Durham Emirates Cricket Ground.
June 2016: Enter CIC perform for the King and Queen of Lesotho (King Letsie 111 and his wife Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso). This was a huge honour and our young people were individually presented to the King and Queen at Auckland Castle in the presence of the Bishop of Durham and the Vice Lord Lieutenant of Durham.
July 2016: The Wind Road Boys sell-out Tour of the North East (including the following venues Sage, Gateshead, Phoenix Theatre, Blyth, Hartlepool Town Hall, Stanley Civic Theatre, Woodhorn Museum)
July 2016: Disney Jungle Book Summer School.
October 2016: Enter CIC Host national children’s theatre festival (Take Off Festival 2016)
October 2016: Home Fires Musical performed as part of a diversity festival.
December 2016: Enter produce a Santa’s magical Experience.
December 2016: Enter CIC host their Christmas performance, Ribbons and Bowes at Bowes Museum.
Just a little bit busy then! Lots of exciting opportunities are awaiting us in 2017. We can’t wait!
