On Sunday 9th November 2014 students from Enter CIC took part in the Remembrance Day Ceremony held in Ferryhill to remember all the men, women and children who lost their lives in both World Wars. We are delighted to be part of such an important event in the community and it is very important for the young people who attend Enter CIC to understand their heritage so they are able to continue and remember the sacrifices that were made to ensure they have a better future.
The students took part in a parade that ended at the Ferryhill Cenotaph outside the Town Hall where they layed a wreath alongside other community groups and organisations in Ferryhill. It was great to see so many people turn out and pay their respects. It is definitely something we hold very close to our hearts and something that we will continue to support in the future.
