On Sunday 15th December 2013 Enter CIC welcomed a very special visitor to The Enter Centre in Ferryhill. We invited children from the community to come and meet Santa at our centre that had been transformed into a magical winter wonderland for his arrival.
Before Santa’s arrival a number of very special golden tickets were given out at random to children in the community which allowed them free entry into the grotto.
As they made their way into the grotto the children and parents both gasped in amazement as they found themselves in a bedroom scene the night before Christmas. To continue their journey they had to find a secret passage way through a magic wardrobe. After passing through the wardrobe they found themselves on a magical pathway with surprises around every corner.
The fairy-tale scenes saw the children participating in fun activities until they reached the end where Santa’s Elves entertained the audience with dancing and singing before they got to call for Santa using magic bells. The children again gasped with excitement as they saw Santa sitting by the fire waiting for their arrival. Santa talked to all the children before surprising them with a gift for Christmas.
Santa had a number of fantastic elves and helpers who made the experience extra special for everyone.
It was fantastic to see 66 children from the community attend our special day and we know that Santa and all his elves had a fantastic time meeting everyone and can’t wait to come back next year!
