We specialise in programmes that raise aspiration, combat social isolation, improve mental and physical wellbeing as well as developing volunteering and employment skills. We have won awards for our work with elderly communities.

Santa’s Grotto 2014

On Sunday 14th December 2014 we were delighted to welcome a very special visitor to The Enter Centre in Ferryhill. Children from the community had the chance to come and meet Santa at our centre.

This year Santa decided to bring even more of his fantastic helpers and with his magic he helped transform our centre in to a magical winter wonderland.

As the children arrived they eagerly waited before being taken on a magical journey through the wonderland. On the way the children were met by Santa’s helpers and entertained until finishing their journey in Santa’s Grotto and having a chat with the big man himself. Santa was delighted to see so many well behaved children and gladly took the Christmas lists that the young people had written for him, he then surprised them all with an early gift to take home.

It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved and great to see the excitement on the children’s faces as they made their way home. We knew this was going to be a very special occasion following on from the success of last years Grotto. We would like to thank Santa and all of his helpers for their fantastic energy and entertainment that made dreams come true.
