Students studying on our upper school programme will have the opportunity to study at different levels with a number of different examination boards. Students will be provided with numerous performance opportunities and will be entered into local and national competitions. They will have the opportunity to be personally mentored by industry professionals and be actively encouraged to understand all aspects of theatre including front of house, technical theatre, stage management as well as the traditional performance roles. Educational visits will be organised to complement their study and where appropriate audition preparation will be available for students applying to performing arts institutes or wishing to make the transition directly into the industry.

Upper School sessions run on a Wednesday evening and a Sunday afternoon. The sessions are between 2-3 hours in duration. Students participate in an array of creative classes (solo and group tuition) and have the option to participate in graded examinations in Drama, Dance, Musical Theatre, Performance Arts, Singing, Musical Instruments, Lighting, African Drumming, Media.
Students studying on our Upper School programme also have the option to study Arts Awards at Silver and Gold level. They will have regular opportunities to visit recording studios and theatres to gain first hand experience of the creative industry. Upper School students are also encouraged to participate in the Enter CIC Mentoring Programme this can be part of their Arts Award, or completed as a separate volunteering programme.
