World War One – Belgium Performance Tour

Written by Paul

20th May 2018

Those of you who follow our Facebook page (and if you don’t, please do join us) will be aware that Enter CIC have been invited to perform during the Last Post Ceremony at The Menin Gate on the 15th August 2018. We will also be performing at St George’s Chapel, Talbot House and Ypres Market Square as part of our tour.

As you can imagine, we are honoured to have been invited to perform at these memorial sites and we are very much looking forward to visiting the memorial sites and commemorating the fallen service personnel.

In honour of this very special tour, Paul Flynn has once again penned a new composition for this occasion. Over the past couple of days he has been working in the studio with singers and musicians to bring his creation to life and WOW, what a song! Its called Carved in Stone and all who have heard it know that it is a beautiful commemoration to those personnel who lost their lives during WW1, and for whom there is no grave because their bodies were not recovered.

The song will be premiered at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium. We know anyone who is attending will hear the beautiful lyrics and melodies, as well as the passionate performance from our company, and feel truly uplifted.
